About Me

My name is Trần Lê Minh, born in 2008, and I am currently studying at Vinh University High School for the Gifted in Nghe An Province. Besides my passion for playing chess, I am deeply involved in community activities, especially those related to supporting people with disabilities.
I believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities to grow, and I aim to contribute to helping individuals with disabilities access the same chances as others. Through the fundraising projects and support programs I’ve participated in, I’ve witnessed positive changes in their lives, which further motivates me to continue my efforts. With small actions, I hope to make a greater impact and help build a more inclusive and compassionate society.

CSoul Club

From the moment I started learning programming and computer science, I realized that having access to technology is a huge advantage for students. After spending time studying and joining advanced classes at my school, I decided to share my knowledge with children in mountainous areas and at the SOS school.
Before each lesson, I carefully prepared teaching materials, ranging from basic computer operations and word processing to simple lessons in Scratch and Python. Since the facilities there were limited, I had to design the content to be concise, easy to understand, and not dependent on modern equipment.

The outcome was beyond expectations. Many students who were shy at first became confident enough to write short pieces of code or create a small game after a few sessions. Seeing their eyes light up when they built something on their own gave me great joy. I realized that sharing knowledge not only benefits others but also helps me grow, teaching me patience and flexibility in communication.

Chess

I started playing chess when I was in primary school. At first, it was just a game with my father, but gradually I became fascinated by the logic, strategies, and patience that this intellectual sport requires. From small school tournaments, I advanced to city-level competitions and beyond. Some victories brought me unforgettable happiness, while defeats taught me resilience and the importance of not giving up.

Beyond competing, I also organized small sessions to introduce chess to classmates and younger students. I wanted others to experience the same joy I did: that every chess match is a journey of thought, training analytical skills and patience. To me, chess is not only a game but also a teacher that instills calmness and a spirit of continuous improvement.

During a volunteer trip to Quý Châu district, I had the chance to share that passion with local children and families. I taught basic chess skills, guided them through simple strategies, and watched their excitement grow with every move they mastered. Alongside the lessons, I brought small gifts and essential items for the children and households, hoping to offer both encouragement and a bit of warmth. Those sessions reminded me why I love chess: it connects people, inspires thinking, and creates moments of genuine joy even in the simplest settings.

Charity Activities

Taking part in volunteer activities has been a truly meaningful and memorable experience for me. The times I joined others to bring gifts, clothes, and books to people in difficult circumstances — especially children — have left a deep impression on me. I realized that around us, there are still many unfortunate lives, many children who must live in poverty and lack both material and emotional support.

Those volunteer trips helped me grow and become more mature. I’ve learned to be grateful for what I have and to care for and share with others. Every innocent smile from the children when receiving even the smallest gift makes me feel warm and happy inside. I understood that helping others is not only about giving material things, but also about spreading love, faith, and hope.

Since then, I’ve noticed that I’ve become more compassionate and responsible. I’m always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need, even in small ways. For me, every act of volunteering is not just a good deed but also a way to nurture the soul — to live kindly and make life more meaningful every day.

SPORTS

I am deeply passionate about sports, with football being the activity that inspires me the most. Participating in weekly training sessions with my teammates has become an important part of my routine, as it not only strengthens my physical health but also nurtures my sense of discipline, commitment, and teamwork. Each session provides me with valuable opportunities to refine my skills, enhance my endurance, and reflect on my personal growth on and off the field.

Through consistent practice, I have learned to manage my time effectively, stay dedicated to my goals, and persevere through challenges. Football, to me, is more than a sport — it is a meaningful experience that helps shape my character, develop my communication abilities, and foster a strong sense of responsibility toward my team. The shared moments of effort, encouragement, and accomplishment with my teammates have motivated me to maintain an active and positive lifestyle, while continually striving to improve myself.

INTERNSHIP

I had the opportunity to intern at GOSTREAM, a company operating in the technology sector. During my internship, I was exposed to a professional working environment, gained practical knowledge about technology and business operations, and supported team members with various tasks. This experience helped me develop a proactive mindset, strengthen my teamwork skills, and improve my ability to adapt quickly. As a result, I became more certain about my aspiration to pursue a career in the technology field, with the goal of creating meaningful products that have a positive impact on the community.

Nghe An and Vinh City

Growing up in Vinh City, I have always been proud of my hometown, a place rich in culture and filled with unforgettable dishes. I especially enjoy exploring the cuisine, from simple meals such as eel porridge, banh muot, and eel soup to rustic foods sold at traditional markets.
This passion did not stop at eating and enjoying. I often recorded my impressions, took photos, and wrote short blogs to introduce them to friends from other provinces. Once, together with a group of friends, I built a simple app that recommended food spots and beautiful corners of Nghe An in English, making it easier for international friends to explore. I also enjoyed cooking some local specialties myself to share with visitors, especially those coming to Vinh for the first time.

Through these activities, I not only deepened my understanding of my homeland but also contributed in a small way to promoting the image of Nghe An as a friendly and welcoming place. I realized that sharing what I love is one of the most meaningful ways to spread my affection for my hometown.

I built and developed the website “Explore Nghệ An” with the goal of introducing famous landmarks, tourist attractions, and local cuisine of Nghệ An province to a wide audience, particularly young people and travelers. During the project, I was directly responsible for conceptualizing content, collecting and curating information and images, as well as designing the website’s interface and structure to provide a user-friendly experience.

The project received awards at the Nghệ An Open Competition for Creative Startup Talents 2025, recognizing its creativity, technological application, and contribution to promoting local culture. Through this project, I not only developed skills in research, content creation, website design, and technological thinking, but also demonstrated my aspiration to promote Nghệ An’s tourism and culture through digital platforms, creating a positive impact on the community.
